Stephen Gugu

Stephen is an entrepreneurial professional with extensive experience in project and corporate finance.

Stephen has handled numerous projects in the ICT, financial services, energy and real estate sectors from a modelling, due- -diligence, fundraising and structuring perspective with significant experience from his past role as Head of Research, Stanlib Eastern Africa.

He holds an International Master in Business Administration (with Great Distinction) degree from Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, Belgium, a Higher Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Hons from the University of Nairobi. He has completed his Certified Public Secretary (CPS), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level 2 and is FAST Standard Level 1 Certified.

 

 

Steve Ogada, CFA

Steve Ogada has over 20 years of experience as a corporate & project finance expert with capital markets experience. He has built a track record in financial structuring, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, financial modelling and analysis, valuation and financial due diligence.

He has worked with project developers, corporates and entrepreneurs in various sectors including energy – with a focus on renewable energy, manufacturing, trading, real estate, financial services, agri business, among others. Steve has gained extensive experience in structuring and fundraising for PPP projects, particularly in power and transport infrastructure. He has also built expertise in balance sheet restructuring and Company Voluntary Arrangements.

He has developed buy side networks in Private Equity, asset managers, banking & Development Finance Institutions.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honors) in Economics from Kenyatta University and is FAST Level 1 Certified by the FAST Standard Organization.

Steve Ogada is a CFA® charter holder and a member of the Institute of Certified Financial Analysts (ICIFA).

Kelvin is a dynamic professional with a robust financial, economic, and investment analysis background. With a diverse portfolio spanning industries such as Fintech, Logistics, Cleantech, Healthtech, and Edtech, he has successfully managed projects encompassing a wide range of deliverables, from intricate business and financial analysis to comprehensive financial and economic due diligence.

Kelvin holds a degree in Economics from The University of Nairobi and is a certified Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA). Notably, he has also completed the Certified Investments and Financial Analyst program, achieving recognition as the top performer in a Derivatives analysis paper.

He is an associate member of the Institute of Certified Investments and Financial Analysts (ICIFA), and he is FAST Level 1 certified.

Jerry Ochanda

Jerry Ochanda is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with extensive experience across diverse industries, including manufacturing, agribusiness, renewable energy, and fintech.

He has a proven track record of successfully managing projects with early-stage companies, from preparing companies for investor engagements to facilitating investor relations and conducting intricate financial modelling.

Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with second-class upper-division honors from The University of Nairobi. He is pursuing certifications as an Investment and Financial Analyst (ICIFA) and is FAST Level 1 certified.

Kelvin Kipkorir

Kelvin is an accomplished Analyst specializing in financial modeling, deal sourcing, and portfolio management.

With a diverse background in entrepreneurial finance across East Africa, Kelvin has been pivotal in advancing early-stage ventures. He has secured over €1.1 million in grants through the DeveloPPP Ventures initiative and guided startups to a 50% deal flow success rate. Kelvin also led financial training for 20 innovators, helping raise KES 48 million through the Research to Commercialization (R2C) program. His expertise extends to financial modeling for projects like agribusiness ERP and fintech solutions.

Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science (First Class Honours) from Meru University of Science and Technology. He is a certified Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA), Equity Research certified by Stotz Investment Research, and FAST Level 1 certified.

Joyce Kamara

Joyce is an experienced customer relation professional with a decade of experience in multimedia and real estate. She is skilled in stakeholder communication, project planning, and administration. She holds a Customer Service diploma from Queensway College and has Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

Joyce is the Operations Manager at InVhestia Africa Limited, overseeing sales objectives and customer service. She serves as a Business Development Admin at InVhestia Africa Limited, identifying opportunities and coordinating stakeholders.

Edna Okombo
